Response to Erano: A look at the END OF LAWLESSNESS AND EVIL 5

"Now we know through this revelation of the prophet like Moses, Teacher Evangelista (the Foreigner) the Name of God in the articles in www.thename.ph and www.thenameonline.info.

And now the Great Battle:

A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.
Revelation 12:1 (NIV)

"wondrous sign appeared in heaven" - messages that are given and are seen by the people of the world simultaneously through Satellite TV, Cable TV and the internet.

"woman" - the same woman who was revealed in Genesis 3:14-15.The mere fact that the prophecy in Genesis 3:14-15 was still mentioned in the book of Revelation, only means that the crushing of the serpent’s head or the exposition of Satan was not fulfilled during Jesus’ time.

“crown of twelve stars on her head”- who does this woman symbolize?

Who were the ones who were before symbolized as stars in the prophecy?

And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.” Then the word of the LORD came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.” He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars - if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
Genesis15:3-5 NIV

The ones who were promised by God that will be as numerous as the stars in the sky are the descendants of Abraham through his son Isaac.  The people of Israel, they will be the ones who were promised by God to be as numerous as the stars!

Therefore, the woman here symbolizes the people who will be called Israel or the New Israel of God"

Assertion after assertion. The woman mentioned in Revelation is not Mary, it's the bride of Christ, the church. No where is it referring the prophecy of Genesis 3:15 and no where in the passage does it talk about a New Israel in Revelation 12.

More evidence of this can be found in Keith Thompson's documentary on Roman Catholicism, specifically this part on Revelation 12: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAM_7nEaMB0

"Is it true?

Set up road signs; put up guideposts. Take note of the highway, the road that you take.  Return, Virgin Israel, return to your towns.  How long will you wander, unfaithful Daughter Israel?  The Lord will create a new thing on earth - the woman will return to the man.”
Jeremiah 31:21-22 (NIV)

Or in another version:

“Set up signposts, Make landmarks; Set your heart toward the highway, the way in which you went. Turn back, O virgin of Israel, Turn back to these your cities. How long will you gad about, O you backsliding daughter?  For the Lord has created a new thing in the earth - A woman shall encompass a man.”
Jeremiah 31:21-22 (NKJV)

“Virgin Israel” - symbolizes the New Israel - the people who calls on the true Name of God as prophesied in Zechariah 13:9. It is no longer the Jews whom God considers as His people Israel

“Set up signposts, Make landmarks;” - so that we may no longer be lost or led astray about the truth.

“A woman shall encompass a man.” - the sign that the promise of God to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will be fulfilled at a time when the status of all women is equal with men.This is also the sign of the time that the battle foretold by God in the book of Genesis will happen

We can see this is now happening today through women’s groups around the world who are standing up to claim their rights to be of equal status with men."

The virgin Israel refers to the Jews who put their trust in YHWH, nowhere does the context indicate that the people of Israel are no longer his people and what on earth has women encompassing man got to do with women claiming equal rights to men? Talk about anachronistic eisegesis.

The pulpit commentary says the following Jeremiah 31:22:
"A woman shall compass a man; i.e. instead of shyly keeping aloof, or worse (as hitherto), Israel, Jehovah's bride, shall, with eager affection, press around her Divine husband. The phrase, however, is extremely difficult. Of other explanations, the most plausible philologically is that of Schnurrer and Gesenius, "a woman shall protect a man" (comp. Deuteronomy 32:10)".

Zechariah 13 has already been addressed here:

"Why is the new Israel symbolized as a Virgin?  What symbolizes the former Israel?

“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 31:31-32 (NIV)

"though I was a husband to them" - the former Israel were described by God as a wife. However, they had broken that covenant many times.  What is worse is that even their anointed ones, (who were Solomon and Jesus), were not successful in returning them to God because both of them failed to manifest to them God’s true Name."

The context is referring to the people of Israel, not to anyone else. Gentile recipients of the covenant are grafted into the covenant. The covenant found in Jeremiah 31 is made with national Israel, but only those who have repented may be recipients of the covenant. Where is Jesus' lack of success? I have already pointed out previously in other materials that Jesus certainly did NOT fail in his mission to bring the people of Israel to the Father. And the people of Israel knew God's name anyway.

There is no such thing as a "former" Israel.

"This is why God made a new Covenant and this time, to be part of His covenant his people must acknowledge His Name:

“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
Jeremiah 31:33-34 NIV

“because they will all know me” - by acknowledging and accepting the Name of God that His (Last Prophet) the prophet like Moses brings, we become part of the New Covenant of God - the New Israel (Zechariah 13:9)."

The texts of Zechariah 13 are already covered and they DO NOT refer to a New Israel replacing the Jews.

This video response (Response to Rabbi Asher Meza on Debunking the New Covenant) I did to Asher Meza will shed some light on what Jeremiah 31 talks about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k5y6gt-OOQ

"Let us return to:

She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.
Revelation 12:2-3 (NIV)

“She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.” - What does this mean?

“Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son.  Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this?  Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment?  Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.  Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the LORD. “Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God. “Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her.
Isaiah 66:7-10 (NIV)

“Before she goes into labor, she gives birth” - This is not a natural occurrence – this is about a coming event.  This is all about the birth of the New Israel, the New People of God. This symbolizes the calling of Maestro Evangelista, when he was called by God to be His prophet like Moses.  The Last Prophet to reveal His great Name.  He was the first to become God’s new people. The firstborn of the New Israel of God!

“Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment?"  - When all peoples of the world listen to the word of God that He commanded Maestro Evangelista to reveal through the Bible.  When everyone accepts and acknowledge that God has sent him to proclaim His Holy Name - at that moment in time, we will all be called by God as His people.  His New Israel - a new nation of God!"

There is nothing about the New Israel or anything like what Erano is promoting with respect to the texts that are being quoted. Isaiah 66 speaks of Israel's own restoration, namely that of the Jewish people returning to God.

"66 This is what the Lord says:

“Heaven is my throne,
    and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
    Where will my resting place be?
2 Has not my hand made all these things,
    and so they came into being?”
declares the Lord.
“These are the ones I look on with favor:
    those who are humble and contrite in spirit,
    and who tremble at my word.
3 But whoever sacrifices a bull
    is like one who kills a person,
and whoever offers a lamb
    is like one who breaks a dog’s neck;
whoever makes a grain offering
    is like one who presents pig’s blood,
and whoever burns memorial incense
    is like one who worships an idol.
They have chosen their own ways,
    and they delight in their abominations;
4 so I also will choose harsh treatment for them
    and will bring on them what they dread.
For when I called, no one answered,
    when I spoke, no one listened.
They did evil in my sight
    and chose what displeases me.”
5 Hear the word of the Lord,
    you who tremble at his word:
“Your own people who hate you,
    and exclude you because of my name, have said,
‘Let the Lord be glorified,
    that we may see your joy!’
    Yet they will be put to shame.
6 Hear that uproar from the city,
    hear that noise from the temple!
It is the sound of the Lord
    repaying his enemies all they deserve.
7 “Before she goes into labor,
    she gives birth;
before the pains come upon her,
    she delivers a son.
8 Who has ever heard of such things?
    Who has ever seen things like this?
Can a country be born in a day
    or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
    than she gives birth to her children.
9 Do I bring to the moment of birth
    and not give delivery?” says the Lord.
“Do I close up the womb
    when I bring to delivery?” says your God.
10 “Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her,
    all you who love her;
rejoice greatly with her,
    all you who mourn over her.
11 For you will nurse and be satisfied
    at her comforting breasts;
you will drink deeply
    and delight in her overflowing abundance.”
12 For this is what the Lord says:

“I will extend peace to her like a river,
    and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream;
you will nurse and be carried on her arm
    and dandled on her knees.
13 As a mother comforts her child,
    so will I comfort you;
    and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”
14 When you see this, your heart will rejoice
    and you will flourish like grass;
the hand of the Lord will be made known to his servants,
    but his fury will be shown to his foes.
15 See, the Lord is coming with fire,
    and his chariots are like a whirlwind;
he will bring down his anger with fury,
    and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For with fire and with his sword
    the Lord will execute judgment on all people,
    and many will be those slain by the Lord.
17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things—they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord.

18 “And I, because of what they have planned and done, am about to come[a] and gather the people of all nations and languages, and they will come and see my glory.

19 “I will set a sign among them, and I will send some of those who survive to the nations—to Tarshish, to the Libyans[b] and Lydians (famous as archers), to Tubal and Greece, and to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations. 20 And they will bring all your people, from all the nations, to my holy mountain in Jerusalem as an offering to the Lord—on horses, in chariots and wagons, and on mules and camels,” says the Lord. “They will bring them, as the Israelites bring their grain offerings, to the temple of the Lord in ceremonially clean vessels. 21 And I will select some of them also to be priests and Levites,” says the Lord.

22 “As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure. 23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord. 24 “And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”"

There is also an endtime judgement in which those who refuse to submit to God will be subject to hellfire for all eternity, namely in verse 24 in particular. The subject of a New Moon and Sabbaths may be looked at in another article if the Lord Wills.

Deuteronomy 18 has already been tackled here: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/who-are-false-prophets-maestro-erano.html

"Let us read again:

She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.
Revelation 12:2-3 (NIV)

"an enormous red dragon " - the woman was against the snake in the Garden of Eden.
Maestro Evangelista says, the dragon (serpent) is still mentioned in the Book of Revelation and it means that the struggle that started in the Garden of Eden (in the book of Genesis) is still going on.  It has not yet been settled.

“Seven heads-“ – The dragon mentioned here is not Satan nor Jesus anymore, but those who continue the deception that Jesus and his apostles had propagated.  “Seven” also means being many (or continuous, like the seven days in a week), one main religion that had spawn many other religions, churches and beliefs.

This is none other than Christianity as it preached the worship of the one to whom Satan (Devil) had given his power – Jesus.  Out of it came different sects - Catholicism, Protestantism, Born- Again, Orthodox, Baptists, Iglesia ni Cristo or Church of Christ etc."

Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Iglesia ni Cristo and the Church of Christ cult are not Christian groups at all. The dragon with 7 heads IS Satan, not a main religion spawning several religions. While seven can mean many, this wouldn't prove Erano's case to be true.

Let us carry on in another article if the Lord Wills.
