WHO ARE THE FALSE PROPHETS? MAESTRO ERANO EVANGELISTA!

Another article which I am responding to is one the question of who are the REAL false prophets. Erano's quotes are in bold and italics whereas the Biblical quotations are in bold alone

"Christians and Muslims were indoctrinated by their respective religious priests, ministers, imams, and other practitioners of their faiths that any man in our present time who claims that he is a prophet sent by God is automatically a false prophet.

However, when we read God’s OWN words in the prophecy, we will understand that there is a time when the real false prophets will be exposed."

Firstly we have a strawman, Neither Christianity or Islam teach that "any man in our present time who claims that he is a prophet sent by God is automatically a false prophet". Islam does claim that Muhammad is the final prophet for all mankind and what their stance is on prophets after Muhammad came is that there will no longer be any prophets coming after him. However, Islam is another story since the claims it makes about Muhammad and Jesus are easily refuted by the scriptures themselves, not to mention Allah of the Quran is not YHWH of the Bible, they are two different Gods. Secondly, The Bible in both the TANAKH and the New Testament does teach there will be true prophets after Jesus and the prophets who penned the TANAKH. However, their messages must be consistent with the message of the Bible, otherwise they are false prophets.

It has been demonstrated by me that Erano's claims to prophethood have no such foundation in the Bible and he is to be rejected. Christianity does accept true prophets coming after Jesus, but if a prophet brings a false gospel and false teaching, he is to be rejected.

Such examples would include men like Muhammad, Joseph Smith, Charles Taze Russel John Paul Jackson, Bill Subritzsky, Paul Cain, Cindy Jacobs etc.

"Let us read in:

 The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes
 the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly.
Jeremiah 23:20 NIV

“In days to come you will understand it clearly.”- This purports that there is a proper time for the words of God (which were written by the prophets) in the Old Testament to be understood.

We will realize, when that time comes, that we will fully be enlightened about the word of God.

I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message;
I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied.
Jeremiah 23:21 NIV

“I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message”-When the time of our enlightenment (about God’s word) comes, we will also realize who the false prophets are.  They are the real people who propagated erroneous teachings about God.

This means that for an individual to claim he/she was SENT by God and insists that what he/she speaks is the truth about God’s words in the Bible, pre-supposes that this person must have been taught by God.  This person will not speak about God out of his/her own personal interpretation of what is written in the scriptures!"

Why don't we actually read what Jeremiah himself ACTUALLY wrote by Holy Spirit:

Jeremiah 23:16 This is what the Lord Almighty says:

“Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you;
    they fill you with false hopes.
They speak visions from their own minds,
    not from the mouth of the Lord.
17 They keep saying to those who despise me,
    ‘The Lord says: You will have peace.’
And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts
    they say, ‘No harm will come to you.’
18 But which of them has stood in the council of the Lord
    to see or to hear his word?
    Who has listened and heard his word?
19 See, the storm of the Lord
    will burst out in wrath,
a whirlwind swirling down
    on the heads of the wicked.
20 The anger of the Lord will not turn back
    until he fully accomplishes
    the purposes of his heart.
In days to come
    you will understand it clearly.
21 I did not send these prophets,
    yet they have run with their message;
I did not speak to them,
    yet they have prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my council,
    they would have proclaimed my words to my people
and would have turned them from their evil ways
    and from their evil deeds.
23 “Am I only a God nearby,”
declares the Lord,
    “and not a God far away?
24 Who can hide in secret places
    so that I cannot see them?”
declares the Lord.
    “Do not I fill heaven and earth?”
declares the Lord.
25 “I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’ 26 How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds? 27 They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their ancestors forgot my name through Baal worship. 28 Let the prophet who has a dream recount the dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has straw to do with grain?” declares the Lord. 29 “Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?

30 “Therefore,” declares the Lord, “I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me. 31 Yes,” declares the Lord, “I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, ‘The Lord declares.’ 32 Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares the Lord. “They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least,” declares the Lord.

God in the context is warning the Israelites not to listen to the false prophets that have risen among them and tells them to abandon their idolatry and sin. There is a NT principle here as well, but not so much in the way of going after other gods necessarily, but worshipping the True God in the wrong manner, namely Avodah Zara or alien worship.

I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied.”- For any person to claim he/she is a prophet of God because God spoke verbally to them must not be believed because God never spoke to them

How do we know that God did not speak to those people?

Let us read in:

When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the
trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear.
They stayed at a distance and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself
and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."
Exodus 20:18-19 NIV

We will die if we hear God’s voice directly.  When the people of Israel, who just came out of their slavery in Egypt, heard God’s voice – they trembled in fear.  From that moment on, God never spoke directly to the people but only to His prophet Moses.

We now know why God said in Jeremiah 23:21 that ““I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied.” because that so-called prophet should have died upon hearing God’s voice.  God only spoke verbally to His prophet Moses.

Therefore, since God Himself said that we are yet to understand His words in “days to come”, it follows that what the religions say concerning false prophets cannot be accepted as the final truth.  Also, we cannot consider what they have explained about the word of God as truth because it is clearly written that God’s word will be only understood at the proper time!"

This is a gross misreading of Exodus 20. The people were afraid of God speaking to them and ask Moses to be his mouthpiece and speak on God's behalf. If a prophet dies from merely hearing the voice of God, how the hell did man even get the TANAKH in the first place? God spoke VERBALLY to the prophets of Israel in dreams and visions. God can on occasions VEIL his glory and speak to an individual. By Erano's logic, he should of been dead after supposedly hearing from God. Yes I know he claims to be the prophet like Moses, but so far, I am not convinced.

Now Erano tries to back up his claims by going to the following section in Habakkuk. His abuse of Deuteronomy 18 is already addressed here: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/how-erano-evangelista-deceived-humanity.html

"Is this true?

Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 NIV

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time”-This means that all the writing of the prophets are meant to be understood at a proper time.  We should not easily believe what any religious preacher speaks about God’s word, especially preachers or theologians’ explanation of God’s word in the prophecy.

Why is it that we are yet to understand God’s word “in days to come”?"

It isn't referring to the time of Erano's coming, it is referring to what will transpire in Israel. Read the entire book and you'll see what I mean. I will also quote some of chapter 2 here for your convenience:

Habakkuk 2 I will stand at my watch
    and station myself on the ramparts;
I will look to see what he will say to me,
    and what answer I am to give to this complaint.[a]

2 Then the Lord replied:

“Write down the revelation
    and make it plain on tablets
    so that a herald[b] may run with it.
3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
    it speaks of the end
    and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
    it[c] will certainly come
    and will not delay.
4 “See, the enemy is puffed up;
    his desires are not upright—
    but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness[d]—
5 indeed, wine betrays him;
    he is arrogant and never at rest.
Because he is as greedy as the grave
    and like death is never satisfied,
he gathers to himself all the nations
    and takes captive all the peoples.
6 “Will not all of them taunt him with ridicule and scorn, saying,

“‘Woe to him who piles up stolen goods
    and makes himself wealthy by extortion!
    How long must this go on?’
7 Will not your creditors suddenly arise?
    Will they not wake up and make you tremble?
    Then you will become their prey.
8 Because you have plundered many nations,
    the peoples who are left will plunder you.
For you have shed human blood;
    you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.
9 “Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain,
    setting his nest on high
    to escape the clutches of ruin!
10 You have plotted the ruin of many peoples,
    shaming your own house and forfeiting your life.
11 The stones of the wall will cry out,
    and the beams of the woodwork will echo it.
12 “Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed
    and establishes a town by injustice!
13 Has not the Lord Almighty determined
    that the people’s labor is only fuel for the fire,
    that the nations exhaust themselves for nothing?
14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord
    as the waters cover the sea.
15 “Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors,
    pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk,
    so that he can gaze on their naked bodies!
16 You will be filled with shame instead of glory.
    Now it is your turn! Drink and let your nakedness be exposed[e]!
The cup from the Lord’s right hand is coming around to you,
    and disgrace will cover your glory.
17 The violence you have done to Lebanon will overwhelm you,
    and your destruction of animals will terrify you.
For you have shed human blood;
    you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.
18 “Of what value is an idol carved by a craftsman?
    Or an image that teaches lies?
For the one who makes it trusts in his own creation;
    he makes idols that cannot speak.
19 Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Come to life!’
    Or to lifeless stone, ‘Wake up!’
Can it give guidance?
    It is covered with gold and silver;
    there is no breath in it.”
20 The Lord is in his holy temple;
    let all the earth be silent before him.

Now moving on.

The subject of Exodus 32 and Deuteronomy 24:16 has already been covered here as well as his misuse of 2 Samuel 7:14 which he brings up: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/how-erano-evangelista-deceived-humanity.html.

Honestly, the articles penned by Erano are just as repetitive as video gaming level grinding and RPG players know what I am talking about.

"You may ask: Isn’t Maestro Evangelista a Filipino?  Then, he is not the prophet like Moses because the verse in Deuteronomy 18:18 clearly stipulates that “… a prophet like you from among their brothers” and therefore a Jew.

The question for the reader is:

How do you know that the people whom God will consider as His Israel or His people will only be the Jews?

Read the words that God had put into the mouth of His real prophet like Moses, Maestro Eraño Evangelista:

Is it true that God will consider other peoples to be His people Israel?

I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one
I called ‘Not my loved one. I will say to those called ‘Not my people,’
‘You are my people’; and they will say, ‘You are my God.’”
Hosea 2:23 (NIV)

“I will say to those called ‘Not my people,’ ‘You are my people’; and they will say, ‘You are my God.’” - God promised a long time ago that He will call those who were not His people as His people, meaning He will also consider other peoples as His people Israel.

Who are these people?

This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver
and test them like gold. They will call on my name
and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’
and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God. ’”
Zechariah 13:9 (NIV)

Those who will call on the real Name of God will be considered by God as His people."

It is meaningless of Erano to use the passages he quoted because they are NOT speaking on what the prophet like Moses' nature actually is. Deuteronomy 18 DOES refer to the Israelites having a prophet coming from THEM, not from Arabs, not from Europeans, Africans or Asians and certainly NOT from the Philippines, thus Erano is NOT the prophet like Moses. Even appealing to those passages do not help him because Deuteronomy 18 has physical Israel in mind, not a spiritual Israel which both the TANAKH and the NT do not teach. Both Hosea 2:23 and Zechariah 13:9 speak of Israel's restoration back to YHWH and possibly bringing in the Gentiles into future reconciliation, not by becoming Israel or replacing it, but being grafted into the olive tree. So again, Erano's points are nothing but smokescreen and ad hoc eisegesis.

"When God chose Maestro Evangelista, a Filipino, to be His prophet “like Moses,” He first revealed to him His true Name in the scriptures; thus making Maestro Evangelista belong to the House of Israel and become an Israelite - the FIRST of God’s new Israel.

Since Maestro Evangelista is now an Israelite through the Name of God, we can understand that God raised up a ‘prophet like Moses’ from the brothers of the Israelites!

This will only happen when we accept and acknowledge His true Name as written in Zechariah13:9. God showed this to us when he chose a Gentile, Maestro Evangelista, to be His prophet like Moses.  Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista was sent to reveal God’s great Name to mankind.

To say that this cannot happen is to make God a liar in what He said in Hosea 2:23."

Hosea 2:23 doesn't speak on the prophet like Moses in the first place and it is taught NO WHERE, in either the TANAKH or the New Testament that Israel, the Jews will be replaced by ANYONE, not even the church. The church is grafted into the olive tree, but it doesn't become Israel, nor replace it. Replacement theology, be it from the church or false cults like Islam and Mormonism, is inconsistent with the Bible and is internally inconsistent. If God replaced the Jews with another people, there is no guarantee that God will not do the same with another group. How does Erano know that someone else may come along to replace his cult as the New Israel? Do you see why replacement theology in all forms, even in Christianity is ridiculous?

Read the following on this issue:
http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/one-who-is-jew.html
http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/critique-of-judge-not-response-to.html

"Is it true that the man whom God will call to be His prophet like Moses will come from the east - from the rising of the sun?

I have stirred up one from the north, and he comes -one from the rising sun
who calls on my name. He treads on rulers as if they were mortar, as if he
were a potter treading the clay. Who told of this from the beginning, so we
could know, or beforehand, so we could say, ‘He was right'? No one told of this,
no one foretold it, no one heard any words from you.
Isaiah 41:25-26 NIV

“I have stirred up one from the north” - this was Moses.

“one from the rising sun who calls on my name” - this is the prophet like Moses.  God revealed to him His Name as written in the scriptures and Maestro called on His Name - the first of God’s new people

“No one told of this, no one foretold it, no one heard any words from you” - This is why religious leaders and scholars will be aghast or shocked with these revelations because they will be exposed that what they know about the scriptures did not come from God.

“one from the rising sun who calls on my name” - Why did God emphasize that His chosen one calls on His Name?

This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold.
They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’
and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God. ’”
Zechariah 13:9 (NIV)

Those who will call on the Name of God will be considered by God as His people.  This means that you do not have to be a Jew to be an Israelite or be one of His people.  You only have to accept and acknowledge His true Name."

The ones who were raised up are referring to Gentile Kings who are called by God, not necessarily to be his people in Isaiah 41, but rather anointed for a task that God allots them, specifically it refers to King Cyrus of the Media-Persians. The ones raised up refer to kings, NOT to prophets.

Also Zechariah 13:9 doesn't prove Erano's point as already demonstrated earlier.

The Jews who read these revelations might say: why the need for us to know the true Name of God when we already know it as YHWH?!

"MAY THE WHOLE WORLD now read the words of God that He had put into the mouth of His prophet like Moses, Maestro (Teacher) Eraño Evangelista to reveal the truth why the name YHWH (or Tetragrammaton) that Jews believe is the “unpronounceable” Name of God (which has been made into Yahweh and Jehovah by some Christian scholars) is NOT and NEVER was the true Holy Name of God:"

Which is Erano's claim that is unfounded and his abuse of Jeremiah 44 has already been addressed here: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/an-examination-of-prophecy-of-good_28.html
It is ONLY referring to specific Jews in Israel, NOT to every Jew on the planet.

"Let us read what God said before about the credibility of the scribes who translated God’s word:

"How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us'?
Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.
Jeremiah 8:8 NIV

“Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.” -With what God said about the scribes, it only shows that we should never regard what they have written about His Name as truth based on God’s oath.

Since the false writings of the scribes about the Name of God are the basis of today’s theologians (about their understanding of the word of God), what will now happen to them?

The wise men are ashamed.  They are dismayed and taken. Behold,
they have rejected the word of the Lord; So what wisdom do they have?
Jeremiah 8:9 NIV

“The wise men are ashamed.  They are dismayed and taken” -We have regarded the theologians as wise because of their in-depth knowledge of the word of God.  But with these revelations by God thru His prophet like Moses, they are put to shame because their knowledge came from the scribes who made false Names for God.

“Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord; So what wisdom do they have?” - if they truly understood God’s word in the Bible, they should have obeyed God’s word in Deuteronomy 18:18-19 to wait for the prophet like Moses (in whose mouth God had put His words) because it is through that prophet that God will reveal His Name and not in the writings of the scribes!"

The oath in Jeremiah 44 has already been covered in the article I have posted, moreover Jeremiah 8:8 refers to the scribes in the days of Jeremiah corrupting the meaning of what the Torah actually says by misrepresenting and misinterpreting the text. There isn't anything about Christian theologians studying the word intensely having prophetic revelation and the burden of proof is on Erano to show he is the prophet like Moses and such he has not demonstrated, because it is simply not there.

Also the subject of Deuteronomy 11:26-28 and Deuteronomy 28:58-61 raised by Angel Lawin, an Eranoite has been covered here: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/for-angel-lawin-eranoite.html and also here: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/how-erano-evangelista-deceived-humanity.html

I'll address one more section here and save other points for another time.

"These are signs that the world is truly cursed by God because we worship false gods, do not fear God’s True Name, and do not follow His Commandments.

When it says we do not worship the real God, it means that we do not call on (His) God’s real and true Name.  Thus God’s curse is upon us.  Is this true?

Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge you,
on the kingdoms that do not call on your name;
Psalm 79:6 (NIV)

The foregoing Bible passage, clearly states why God does not hear the prayers and is pouring out His wrath or ANGER to the people of the earth.  It is because we do not call on His real and true Name."

The subject of the name of YHWH has been covered here as well ignorance of his name: http://answering-judaism.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/the-true-authority-and-true-glory-of.html

More of this shall be responded to in the future.
